We stayed in a studio unit for our honeymoon back in 1995 and the view was incredible. It looked like the forest and mountains go on forever! We loved the indoor and outdoor pools, plus we got to see some bears digging in the dumpsters at night.
The downside- we had to replace our brakes when we got back home. It is a VERY steep, narrow, and sometimes harrowing road (Ski Mtn. Rd.) up to the top and even more so when you’re coming down. Due to this, we only went down the mountain once a day and we stayed down all day.
At one point in the road, the curve is so severe that there’s actually a large mirror attached to a pole so that each driver can see any oncoming vehicles that may be about to enter the curve. Only one vehicle at a time can navigate it!!! This is NOT a road for RV’s or large trucks.
